She was never the favorite daughter. Never the ideal cousin. Never the girl who fit into mirrors or people's expectations. Mishel Wahaj, the youngest in a large, opinionated family, has grown up hearing one thing - "You need to lose weight." From aunties' taunts to silent glances at weddings, she's been shrinking emotionally long before she ever tried to shrink physically. But on the edge of 18, something inside her breaks - and quietly begins to rebuild. Across the same bloodline, Rayyan Alvi, her much older cousin - a 28-year-old CSS officer - is everything she's not: composed, dignified, unreachable. For years, Mishel barely registered in his world. But when life pulls them back into the same orbit, something fragile begins to form between unspoken words, eyes that linger too long, and a past that refuses to stay buried. This isn't a love story told in flowers and fairytales. It's told in sajdahs, silences, self-worth, and slow healing. As Mishel fights for her identity, her voice, and her relationship with Allah - she discovers that sometimes the most powerful love stories begin when you finally learn to love yourself. A journey of broken mirrors, unexpected souls, and divine timing. Because when Allah writes your story... nothing comes too early, and nothing comes too late.

Wearing that bridal dress again is a disaster for her because of the crippling guilt. He asks her to wear her nikkah dress if she wishes to meet her parents. Perhaps he is looking out to make a point to them that now she was his. He enters the room and finds her standing near the window, Cladded in her bridal dress which was enough as a mark to tell everyone that she is his. She turns around. For the first time today, he doesn't find the hatred seeping into his eyes for her. Instead, her shining green orbs seems hurt. "Why did you make me wear this dress again?" She inquires. He shrugs his shoulders confidently. "To make a point in front of your family that you are mine and no one, including them, is allowed to mess up with what's mine." "What am I supposed to do then?" "You are now going to stay at your parents's place till I get my own family to accept our nikkah, which they will do eventually. Then they will come to your house, meet your parents and we'll get married in a proper ceremony. You got a promise from me to get the status, respect, and honor of my wife from everyone, and you'll ultimately get that," he informs her truthfully. "What will you tell my parents about all this? And what am I supposed to inform them? And..." She trails off when something hit her mind. She quickly looks back at him. "Don't tell me that you will put the total blame on me. That...that I fled from my house to marry you." "I am not a coward who would ask a woman to leave whatever she had behind to marry me. I loved you openly. I married you openly too. And I'll make you get the status of my wife openly and fearlessly too. I ain't a scared loser who would hide myself behind a woman. I'll tell everyone the truth," he almost roars. She doesn't know why she liked whatever he spoke even though it is wrong on so many levels. Start Date: 06.06.2024 End Date: 23.11.2024

••|4th in Arranged Series|•• Can be read as a standalone Seeing an annoying smirk over his gorgeous face, her whole body simmers with unscathed fire. "Hear me out carefully now," she murmurs, wanting to grasp his attention from his irritable phone to her. He raises a brow in confusion. "Since we are at it and we can't help but accept this arrangement, let's make some rules which you should put in your dumbass head as soon as possible. We can't go against---" He rolls his eyes. "Cut the slack and come to the point. I don't have a whole day for you." She folds her arms around her chest and scowls at him. "Rule no 1: You aren't going to call me by any lecherous nickname." He shrugs his shoulders. "I ain't dying to do that either. Get out of your high hopes." She glowers at his annoyance but again comes to the point. "Rule no 2: We aren't supposed to wear any kind of adornment which could portray as we are linked to one another." "Zero wish," he spats. "Rule no 3: If any of them would expect us to fulfill any demand, we should know our answer in response. We won't do anything which the other party doesn't want. It's all a drama. Do you understand?" She asks, wanting to confirm it. He nodded. "Understood. I have one ambiguity. Rules won't apply if we both want to break them. Right?" And it takes all her self-control not to land a spicy slap across this idiot smug's cheek. Start Date: 17.12.2024 End Date: 22:10.2025

••|3rd in Arranged Series|•• Can be read as a standalone I always find myself getting mesmerized by him. And today is no different. As I come into the corridor leading to the swimming pool with his favorite fresh orange juice, I am stunned by the sight in front of me. Stun is perhaps a small word. I am shocked, surprised, dazed, hypnotized, and bewitched by it. Do I do something really good in a while? Maybe Allah sometimes gives you a ton even without that. My prayers, my fascination, and my mind has always been filled with him. No doubt, I was lucky enough to behold this scene. My blood gets frozen in my veins as it can't even bring a blush to my cheeks. I am in an enchantment. He just performs a butterfly stroke and the way his beautiful and muscular back contrasts with the blue water, makes my jaw drop. He finally gets done with his daily swimming time and comes out of the water. His wet hair is stuck to his scalp and forehead. The water is dribbling through his hair, eyelids, and attractive beard. My breath gets stuck in my throat when he sweeps his hair away by his veiny hands. Allah, this is too much. When he stands up, his bare, sturdy, and muscular chest was all I can see. He grabs the towel and dries his body with it. When he reaches near me, I mum. He is just in his swimming shorts, looking so handsome. He is in his full glory and that is my weak point. "Earth to, Glasses." He snaps his fingers in front of her face. "I know I am a sight to behold but your eyes might get tired like this." The blood finally starts moving again. A flush soon creeps on my cheeks as he takes the glass of juice from me which causes his fingers to brush against my hand. I am doomed. That is for sure. Start Date: 04.03.2024 End Date: 31.05.2024

••|2nd in Arranged Series|•• Can be read as a standalone. "That was in a bad taste, Ishmal. You even hurt yourself in the process." She sniffed her nose. "I don't care about anything. I want to leave at any cost, Mr. Haider." A sinful smile came across his lips. "Try as much as you want, girl. You won't be getting any way out. So don't tire your beautiful brain by making plans to flee away because I will make all of them fail." "But you should also know that I will keep on trying till I get what I want," Ishmal muttered. Haider lessened the distance between them and touched her earring. Bringing his face near to her ear, he sniffed in the usual vanilla scent of her. "Then do that. I also won't get tired by making this more and more difficult for you," Haider grumbled and the living action of his words came quicker than any reaction when he pecked her earlobe. God, why did she have to show him that she was affected by all of these things that he did? He moved away from her and gave her a knowing look. "Isn't that what you wanted from the start? To divorce me. You should be happy that you are getting out of it before the time. You can label me to your family as you want. I don't really care," Ishmal said. "It's getting late. I have duty tomorrow and I need a good sleep. We'll talk about all this tomorrow," he announced and got up. "Now compensation for whose mistake I am doing? Perhaps Nisha." Ishmal's voice made him pause in his tracks. Haider curled his finger in a fist and turned around to face her. The sudden dark which invaded the black of his eyes made Ishmal almost jump out of her place. But that was the last straw. Her only resort to get freedom was by provoking him by using his ex. But did she do right? ~The enchanting moonlight was in their destiny either to make a match for them or to separate them apart ~ Start Date: 11.09.2023 End Date: 10.02.2024
