A quiet story about friendship in a university.

Parrot was supposed to live. Wifies was supposed to die. That's how the story went-how the Director, Wifies, had written it to be. But he hadn't anticipated that Parrot might kill himself in that chamber instead. Now Wifies is left with nothing but regrets, a spyglass, and a grave mourning where his ex-best friend once stood. He wanted to protect Parrot. He swore no one would ever hurt him again. But he forgot to account for the danger that he himself may pose. In this universe, Parrot dies.
