When katsuki was five he felt weird when Izuku was around he would feel his face heat up and his heat beat quicker. It only got worse a few days after his sixth birthday party, not only was his face hearing up and his heart beating fast, he started to sweat more and ended up getting emotionally attached not wanting deku out of his site. He asks his mother about what was happening and she just smiled. Izuku had also had this feeling but since he was 4, he didn't think much of it until katsuki turned 6, after katsukis birthday party Izuku decided to ask his mother what the feeling was and she too just smiled. Deku has a quirk, he can control fire. But he s late bloomer and gets it when he turns 10.

Katsuki got rewinded back to the time where his omega, Izuku was just 2 months along. He just noticed the bruises and the trauma he gave the omega. He felt so guilty, Disgusting. He's in a tough place and his shitty existence clearly isn't doing him any favors, thanks to whatever God out there he was born quirkless in a world full of people who have such a blessing. Katsuki is struggling with his feelings toward Izuku, trying to figure them out. While doing this, he ends up treating Izuku like shit. Katsuki is obsessed with Izuku, and he doesn't realize it. In his longing for deep connection and forgiveness from the one person he has a real relationship with, he doesn't want to let him go. In their last year of middle school, Katsuki realizes his mistakes and tries to fix things. He becomes vulnerable with Izuku and begs for forgiveness.
