Noctis is bored of fighting the Magitek Troopers that seem insistent on raining from the sky every five minutes. At first the thrill of battle had been elating, but the Empire's attempts to kill him were nothing but frustrating at this point. Ignis shouts a warning, the hatch of the Imperial Aircraft opens up and mechanical soldiers attack. It's the same metal men, over and over. Nothing's ever been unique about them, not one has ever stood out from the rest. Not until today. -- In which Insomia never fell and the Empire try to kill Noctis instead, and Prompto never escaped Niflheim: he's an MT. However, the urge to kill can't stop the blonde's desire for friendship. And, of course, Chocobos.

The blonde haired boy Prompto had always felt worthless. He had a deep dark secret that nobody knew. After the same horrifying event happens to Prompto for a second time, it is time for his bros to find answers. Will they find the answers they seek? Or will it lead them down a darker path? Prompto will find his calling through his depressing thoughts and will depend on those he cares most for to pull him through... even if it means to sacrifice a life in the end. *SOME GAME AND MOVIE SPOILERS* Warning: Contains violence and some descriptions of graphic content. Self harm and suicide is explored, but not described in great detail and mental health issues are apparent in some characters.
