Grian is a collage professor who teaches structure analysis. He lives in a world made up of humans and creatures known as Mutants. As a mutant himself, Grian, in his free time, works for Nexus, an organization created by another Avian like himself mainly known as the "Mockingbird". To summarize all that - he's a superhero with wings. It isn't until he finds a young Avian who begins to tell about the world's greatest secret: Who - or what specifically is behind the mobs that roam around the Overworld everyday? Scar has himself a bit of a hero life as well, running around as the Emerald Soldier known as Hotguy. After a fight with Mumbo, Grian decides he needs time away from his best friend. He works on his time machine to take his mind off of it, but during testing, he accidentally takes himself back to the worst years of his life. Highschool. With the time machine missing, and Mumbo following him to Yandere Highschool, the 2 Hermits have to find their way back to Hermitcraft and survive Sam and his antics all over again. TL:DR - Grian and Mumbo are sent back to Yandere Highschool and have to find the time machine and get home. We all know stories of the Watchers. How they're all bad and actively seek world domination or something similar of the sort. But this isn't that style of story. Well, maybe it is, but who's counting all of the evil Watcher stories? ----- A rewrite of one of my Hermitcraft AUs.
