After saving Mayor Humdinger from a collapsing hill, weird and unusual things start happening with Ryder, his behavior changes unexpectedly, and it's up to the pups to figure out what's really going on. I tried to make this story make as much sense as I could... since it's just a fanfiction, let's not take everything too seriously and not do everything too realistically.
