Now Becca must navigate her training, feelings, and memories if she wants to survive in the harsh coldness of winter. In a new country and with new names and new handlers, The Winter Soldier and Becca take out missions for the good of HYDRA. But as time goes on, the Soldier and Becca begin to have flashbacks. Now, they must navigate a strange new country and what's left of their memories and hope to piece together the truth, and hope somehow, the truth will set them free.

Sometimes when you go looking for the past, you find things you never expected. When an accident brings him face to face with something he never knew he lost, Bucky Barnes begins to understand an age old truth - it's so easy, sometimes, to love the things that destroy us.

Steve helps her cope with the sudden change while she begins to unravel dangerous secrets, risking her desire for a normal life. *I do not own any Marvel characters or plots. I do, however, own my own character, Adeline and her plot within the story.*

' "Put her down, Bucky." It was Steve. Staring up into Bucky's eyes that were now glued to the captain, Brenna saw the soft blue turn to steel. A low growl grumbled in his throat. He gently placed her back onto her feet, whipping a knife out of his belt. He pushed Brenna behind him protectively. Backing away with caution, Brenna could only watch as the suspense rose. "Don't make me do this," Steve pleaded, his voice sounding tired. But Bucky was gone once again, taken control of by the Winter Soldier. Never would've neither of them thought that Bucky would actually meet a girl that awakes his interest.. if there wouldn't be so many secrets... - will they part them or grow them even closer together? Sometimes... the unfiltered truths brings peace.. but .. will it always? -- The story is kind of based after the events of TFATWS but will be an AU!! - Besides y/n all the characters belong to Marvel.
