In the mist of 'The Robot War', Sonic comes across a strange fox with even stranger abilities. He doesn't know what he got himself involved with, but he made him a promise. A promise he intends to keep. or; Tails is a kitsune and Sonic just happens to find him. Now Sonic makes it his mission to care for him no matter what anyone says and also stop a whole war in the meantime.

Tails gets shot down in aerial combat by a mysterious enemy. He's in the middle of nowhere with barely any resources to survive on, and the rest of Team Sonic doesn't care that he's gone. Will he make it home with nothing but his brain, and will he find out who got him stuck in the first place?
