The experience of the killing game is something that no one wants to experience, something that breaks people, and if it doesn't kill them physically then it certainly will psychologically, so when the three survivors of the final killing game have to live a normal life knowing what they know, how will they manage to cope? That's the question Shuichi Saihara, the ultimate detective has to find fo himself. Though fortunately, he's not alone, there's another like him that will serve him a great deal in repairing their broken souls, Maki Harukawa might be an assassin, but he knows she has a heart whether it's on the verge of breaking or not. This is a Shuichi x Maki story from danganronpa v3, in my opinion the best game and for some reason, a ship I don't see all that often, so fine, ill do it myself... (I do not have rights to the characters or the games, this is just a story based on the game's events)

Little does Shuichi know, that each and every single one of them is in a gruelling competition. This race will be long, difficult, and complicated. In this story, Kaede never dies. Nobody dies and they are just stuck in the killing game. This is a romance between Kaede and Shuichi. Read and watch it blossom into something beautiful as they learn from each other, have fun times with each other and the rest of the 16, and grow with each other. (Art not mine ;-;) If there is something I draw, I will say. But other than that, all art in this story is not mine, so whoever made it, you are a talented artist! And of course, the characters and setting is not mine.

I soon plan on turning this story into an actual game in the future. But there might be a bit of changes in the actual game itself than here. Also, this would be somewhat a retcon to the Danganronpa series. So brace yourself with some bits of changes with the lore, also spoilers for all of the Danganronpa games too, so viewer desecration is adviced. I own neither Sonic, nor Danganronpa.
