This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard lacks substantial characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats of the original light novel, so some arcs will be glossed over with minor changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates, as I tend to reread chapters and catch minor mistakes here and there. (Note that this is Book 1 for the full story.) this is my first fanfic and English isn't my first language so if I make any mistake then point it out so I can improve. I enjoy reading Tensura fanfics, so I decided to write one myself. This story will closely follow the Main plot of the original, but with a few changes, Rimuru will be a bit smarter and stronger than in canon. The main ship will be Rimuru ciel because let's be honest, it's the perfect match, with some development between Rimuru Hinata as well , since I like her character.
