Woodsboro was a boring town that of course changed when some psycho with no noticeable motive decided to start killing young high school teenagers. This would later on be known as the Woodsboro Massacre, this created a bunch of publicity around it and it seemed as though this was a tragedy that should have just been left in the past, was never going to go away.
