Prince is not famous in this one. An AU Prince in a world where the stars never quite aligned for him... maybe they will this evening as the snow starts to fall over a quiet Minneapolis suburb. It's 1991 and Prince is very much enjoying his life. He's a bachelor and a successful musician. That is, until a call in the middle of the night on New Year's Eve changes almost everything. He finds out he's a father and that the mother of his child is gone, leaving him with the baby. Everything goes well again, especially when he meets the baby's new Nanny.

Ronald stood in the middle of the opened double doors, in a hole riddled bloody wife beater. His pants had been torn at the knee and he'd just threw down the bonsai plant that sat in the middle of the entry way. I pulled my jacket to cover my chest, from the painfully frigid air that blew through the door. "Ronald!" My mother yelled repeatedly, carefully easing her way over to him. I was right behind her... _________________________________________ It wasn't her expectation to fall for one of her cousin's friends. At Andre's house Licia met an anomaly of a person. Things happened unexpectedly for the both of them. He was trying to get a career started and she was trying to figure things out. There was no way she could've known that one of her cousin's weird band mates would become such an integral part of her life... He was a quiet kid, just about to graduate from high school. His parents didn't want him so he was forced to live with friends. Talent was his only way out but it wasn't easy... Nothing Comes Easy. An overly-eager artist being welcomed into the industry is taken on a bumpy ride as she learns life does not have as many sunny days as she thought. Within the process, she comes to learn that her tour guide is a lot more important to her than she ever imagined him to become. Written Summer 2016

This story follows, to some extent, the events of 2013-2016 in Prince's life, including an interpretation of the events of 4/21/16.
