A Short story set in 1941 during the Second World War, where courage and determination are needed against the backdrop of the conflict in North Africa and Egypt.

A tale of Fan Fiction concerning a very real and beautiful diamond called The Great Chrysanthemum. in this tale there are two familiar characters who are known world wide. The most famous of which is Ian Fleming's James Bond, the other is a heroine that was first seen as a cartoon strip in the 1960s and seen as a female version as 007 -the very beautiful Modesty Blaise as created by Peter O'Donnell. The tale sees them visiting various countries following and trying to retrieve the diamond. Both on separate missions their paths naturally cross. Containing diabolical villains, psychotic henchmen, exotic locales and excitement as the mission becomes more complex. So the stakes get higher. Set in the 1960s the tale hopefully captures the flavour of the works written by Fleming and O'Donnell. But only you the reader can judge that. Enjoy.

A Thriller that sees 007 on a very personal mission that involves revenge, intrigue and the rise of a newly formed adversary that has echoes of a painful past. Along the way damsels in distress are rescued, old allies are called in to help and the backdrops of Paris, London and Dubai play their part in a tale that is a true homage to Ian Fleming's creation.
