This story follows Muzi, the male lead who has some mental issues from his mother's isolation and control. He meets a beautiful girl named Aphiwe at 17 and falls in love with her immediately, his mom picks up the tension between the two and decides to take her in. At 20 his mother proposes marriage to Aphiwe and she accepts but asks to wait until she completes her studies. They get married but their married life is far from Muzi's fairytale as his mother has turned Aphiwe into her puppet. A few years later Muzi wants to move out and tells Aphiwe his plan but she goes and blabs about it to her mother in law. Aphiwe and her mother in law devise a plan that backfires when thet decide to have Muzi involved in a school sports project so he can see how uncomfortable the outside life is. At this job he meets young 17 year old Bophelo, she fell first and held on. Aphiwe finds out and tells Bophelo, Bophelo blocks him and he stalks for the next 8 years until he finally kidnaps her. It is now a chase on time, if Aphiwe will rescue Bophelo. Will Bophelo come out alive? Is Muzi in his right mind? Nobody knows.
