When Brimsley first entered the castle, two months before Queen Charlottes arrival, he was told that his entire life, every moment, every breath and every step he takes is for the queen. And there he meets Reynolds the stubborn kings man with a hidden secret . . . Reynolds and Brimsley haven't had the smoothest of starts, at first they were rivals, with hidden secrets, but, there seems to be more than what meets the eye.

When Brimsley gets the job to be the queen's man, he is overjoyed at the excitement of working at living at the Palace. It is everything he dreamed of: the palace itself, his job, and someone he meets. The writers of Queen Charlotte/Bridgerton probably will not come up with a back story for Brimsley and Reynolds so this is my interpretation of how they came to be.
