The date was only three weeks away. Three weeks?! That's not nearly enough time! It was all panic for the Hockey teen. He was a complete mess at the moment. It was only a few days after the end of Total Drama Island and only three weeks until the date Rajesh had with a certain contestant. He's never been asked on a date before. It was only going to be a chill kind of date, nothing fancy. ... Right? Well, With the help of his best friend, Wayne Algolen. I'm sure the date will go smoothly. He's had plenty experiences with dates! But would it be the same? I mean. Raj is going on a date with a MAN. not a woman. Maybe it's the same when it comes to dates? I guess we'll see.

--- I finished watching the new season of TDI, and Raj and Bowie are adorable, so I decided to make a fanfiction abt them! --- An AU where instead of all the contestants being on the island and stuff, they all go to the same High School! Both Raj and Wayne are on the school hockey team. And Bowie is a student with amazing grades he is popular, he does lots of stuff for this community, and has lots of friends. Bowie had come out to the school as gay a year prior and most people accepted him, others couldn't care less. Raj and Bowie start chatting, leading Raj to start to feel... strange.. JUST A REMINDER: All the events of TDI (2023) never happened, but the show does exist in the universe. It's just that the characters are not in the show. (the show does exist though)

Rajesh "Raj" always knew he was different from everyone from middle school to high school he was never the one to think about his own identity that was before meeting Bowie in total drama island. As he and Bowie became closer, Raj started to become more secure in his thoughts and feelings. With Bowie's support, Raj slowly began to explore what it meant to be gay and how it shaped his identity. As he did, Raj started to realize that he had never been fully himself before meeting Bowie, and he never wanted to let go of that. He was finally comfortable with himself and he never wanted to give that up. Even though the show had ended, their connection was still strong and Raj would never be the same. He had found himself and he was determined to keep it that way. How would Raj deal with communicating with Bowie after the show? How would his family feel about him after coming out? Does this affect his relationship with Wayne? How would school be? Would Raj and Bowie get through it together? Tom leaves a note for Jake apologizing but it's dangerous for them to date and he has to leave the city where jakes apartment is but every time when Tom is in Jake's town he leaves flowers and a note on Jake's front door and watches while Jake sees them.
