thomas' senior year has been uneventful and boring, well that is until he receives an anonymous message from a boy confessing his attraction // thomas commences in an investigation, trying to reveal the identity of his "mystery boy" all while accidentally falling in love with him over text - disclaimer: this plot was somewhat inspired by the book simon v. the homo sapiens agenda

(Slight spoilers for TFC, but if you don't know what to look for you won't even know!) Thomas has been in the maze a little while now, and both he and Newt have unexpressed feelings for each other. Things suddenly turn upside down and everyone is dying around them, it's almost like the maze isn't a good place for a relationship. Times are tough, people are breaking, the maze is breaking, the answer to escape is just a sacrifice away! Can they get out? If so, how? What's out there? Who will make it? Newt is a reserved small boy who's rich British accent draws attention away from his noticeable limp. Thomas is a confident star athlete on the track team who also excels academically. The private campus of Southern New York Glade University is a place for fresh starts and big dreams. Now of course I guess nothing really turns out quite how it is in the movies... Exposed to the real world of heartbreak, secrets, agonizing classes and awkward encounters they both realize that the most important thing that anyone can have is someone to lean on, sometimes in Newt's case, literally.
