To spend time with each other before Michikatsu's life gets busier. Because he isn't too sure when they'll meet again. Yoriichi is delighted to see his younger brother again. Now that Michikatsu is here within his reach, he ensures that nothing will ever disrupt their time together. And he makes sure it stays that way.

Michikatsu Tsugikuni is not born with magic. But Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the eldest son, bears the title of the most powerful magical possessor in history. The power balance between the two puts Michikatsu on edge. Michikatsu was seen as "weak" and powerless with no presence of magic within him, and because of that, his older brother intends to shelter him from the danger the world will give. Michikatsu turns around to glance at the sword, which seemed to grow a little bit brighter now, and hesitates. "I'll touch it just one last time..." Michikatsu glides his fingertips into the red glowing markings of the blade... and everything suddenly darkened.

Many years ago, Michikatsu and Yoriichi's parents divorced. The mother kept Yoriichi with her, and the father took Michikatsu. Their relationship as a family began to crumble even before Michikatsu's birth, and for a reason that he doesn't even know years later. The two brothers are quite young and are very close to one another, but it seems life doesn't want them to stay together due to circumstances they can't control. For Yoriichi... This was unacceptable. He was beyond displeased. Meanwhile, despite the sadness for being apart from his older brother, Michikatsu couldn't help but feel... glad. Like the invisible chains of restrictions had finally been broken. As if Michikatsu was a prisoner of a cage that is now unlocked. But then... they have reunited once again.
