It all started when Genya was tired of his mistreatment from his older brother, Sanemi Shinazugawa. Sanemi kept telling him to quit the demon slayer corps. But Genya wanted to be in it to avenge his family who was murdered by demons when he was younger. But until then he met a young lad, the mist hashira. Who became his first friend in years. Maybe more than a friend? (This is a Genya x Muichiro fan-fiction) I don't own any of the characters

Genya has a dysfunctional family with his mother in the hospital and his abusive dad, his brother doesn't talk to him and doesn't want to have anything to do with the other. Muichiro is part of Tanjiro's friend group and hangs out with them a lot, he has a loving family, except his brother who can be pretty rude to his twin as a joke between the two. (This is out of character)
