"You forgetting something?" Yin murmured, voice low and cleanly lethal. "I'm your husband."
War's pulse jumped. He forced a grin. "Yeah, on paper."
"I'm your husband," Yin said evenly. "On paper or not. And I can show you exactly what that means, right here, if you're confused."
"What, you gonna bend me over the washing machine now?" His voice came out too thin, trying for sardonic and landing somewhere closer to pleading.
"Tempting." Yin's lips curved into a slow, dark smile. "But a delicate thing like you couldn't take me dry and live to brag about it."
