Still shaken from that night, his class goes on a field trip to witness the upcoming launch of STAR lab's new particle accelerator. Unknown to them, Izuku's life changed as the supposed launch of the particle accelerator went horribly wrong. That very night when they watched the live event unfold the particle accelerator exploded sending a huge amount of dark matter into the city.
