When the Seventh Doctor was relaxing by having a walk along the seafront, he noticed two men all dressed in black carrying out a corpse. Unfortunately, the Doctor gets caught, knocked out and forced to ingest a poison pill, making him regenerate into a child.

Many years after his adventures in Time and Space with the Detective Boys, the Doctor lands in a forest on the Tatras Mountains, Poland, 1932. There he meets Mariah, Karin, Gregor and Anatoly, a group of 4 friends emigrating from Ukraine due to the famine going on, in a cabin owned by a mysterious man who's hosting them. Things soon will degenerate when the food supplies ran out and a storm flooded the surroundings of the cabin.

The TARDIS lands in a small town near in the northern United States in 1955, where the Doctor investigates the missing of a child. However, he'll soon find out that his disappearance is connected to a massacre happened years before, that involved the kidnapping of a girl and wolf-like goddess.
