Sonic is minding his own business when he finds Scourge sitting on the ground. He keeps his guard up to see what's going on and is shocked to see Scourge holding Fiona in his arms, who had somehow been killed. Scourge hides himself from everyone as best he can, but Sonic is always there. Sonic can't help but feel bad for Scourge, even if they were enemies. He tries his best to make Scourge feel comfortable. He will do anything to keep Scourge happy.

In a fit of rage Scourge accidentally teleports himself into a different timeline where he meets Wade.
