"I Promise I Won't Leave You Again, Branch. None Of Us Will..." It had been six months since the reunion. Branch was so happy to finally be reunited with his brothers! But for some reason, he'd been having an uneasy feeling that his brothers were going to leave him alone again. He knew that was most likely not going to happen, but the feeling just wouldn't go away... One night, as if his worries couldn't have gotten worse, he had a nightmare of his brothers fighting again and abandoning him. He woke up in the middle of an anxiety attack, but John Dory, who lived with him now, woke up and heard his sobs. He comforted his baby brother and made a special promise. My first short story! Contains angst, comfort, and sibling "fluff" (or wholesome moments). Branch wakes up in the middle of the night. His body aches and trembles. Regardless of the fact that he has his brothers back in his life, he's confident he can take care of himself. He always has. However, little does he know that there's another early riser.
