In this particular story, George works at a coffee shop while also maintaining being an undercover detective working on the 'Smile Murderer' case with his partner; Nick. Clay, an everyday regular, catches George's attention. George sees him as a possible suspect for a moment, but it's replaced by the charm Clay has. However, Clay begins to act strangely as more of the murders happen. George, being the detective he is, notices this easily.
