One night. One night is all it took to turn Valin's world upside down. It begins with the murder of half of Valin's family, followed by an encounter with a strange, otherworldly man, Qaletaqa. Valin's life and her mind spirals deeper and deeper out of control until she can no longer tell reality from a fabrication that seems to come from an outside source. I welcome you to join her on this journey down the fox-hole of confusion and perplexity as she comes to familiarize herself with who and what she truly is. This is a story that has its beginnings in the minds of two high school students, myself, and my friend who wishes to remain anonymous.
