Fifteen years ago Hybrids were given rights. Now a danger has overtaken the city. An illness turning random citizens into villains and killing them once they have carried out their deeds. Someone needs to stop the unidentified villain before the city is torn to ruins. Enter Grian, an English teacher working at a local high school who has to be a superhero the moment the city is in trouble. All he wanted was to live a normal life and possibly date his coworker. Cue, Scar an art teacher with a heart of gold and a reckless side who enjoys fighting crime with his partner Cute-Guy. After all, Scar was never one to live a normal life.

Grian has just joined Hermitcraft, a minecraft smp. He makes friends along the way slowly easing into his new life, knowing he can't tell them about his secret. In the 3-4 months he's been here his friends/work colleagues have told him not to talk to Convex, their rival business. When stuff goes downhill at Sahara, Grian decides to speak to Scar, a CEO of Convex, leading him on a journey he would've never been on if it wasn't thanks to him talking to Scar that one day...

Scar's stressed about the Turf War, and Grian even more so. An unlikely admiration blossoms when the two leaders realise how similar they really are. The Turf War keeps them separate, but their love for each other brings them together. This is only a first draft (and my first fanfiction) so I will possibly be working things out to edit this story to its full potential. That being said, if you're alright with the few plot holes and old writing, feel free to read it as is for now!
