The thirst is real.

With a silent huff slipping past his lips, Elliott pulled his notepad closer to him and clicked the end of his pen, scratching it's tip on the edge of the paper to get the ink flowing. Aside from those few scribbles though, the paper was completely empty. He'd brought it along in the hopes that the liveliness of the saloon could offer inspiration, yet all his brainstorming had been nothing more than a few dull ideas bouncing around in his mind. He let himself get lost in his thoughts, never noticing the door of the saloon opening to let a new patron inside, nor noticing the sudden clamor and cheering as a new face entered the building and the bustle of conversation increasing. Listen, I think we could all use a little fluffy escape to get through the day so I'm gonna write some entirely self-indulgent Stardew inspired one-shots. You don't necessarily have to read them in order, but they will connect to form a larger friends-to-lovers story if you do. I'm going to write some short stories based around giving Elliott each one of his loved items (crab cakes, duck feather, lobster, pomegranate, and tom kha soup). I'm also going to write chapters based on the flower dance, heart events, bouquet giving, engagement, and the wedding. No set update schedule for the foreseeable future; I have very limited creative energy at the moment. I may branch out to other characters later, but I plan to focus on Elliott first (because he's my favorite lol) and we'll see how far this goes.

A girl by the name of Valerie moved to Stardew Valley from her dumb job at Joja Mart. In Stardew Valley, she meets a bachelor who goes by the name Elliott. Valerie instantly fell head over heels for him. Will they end up together, or will she watch him from a distance, only to be considered a friend to him? Only one way to find out. By reading it. So read it >:) But it's probably obvious what will happen because it's a romance story but you should still read it :) I found the cover art on pinterest somewhere but yay to whoever made it.
