Evan Morrow and Lily Germaine were a repeat of history. As amazing as it was for people to watch the greatest love story ever play out once again, for Evan Morrow, it was infuriating. Why couldn't Lily just see that he liked her, and had liked her since they played for the Ducks? Why was she so oblivious to his obvious attempts? And why did the new kid have to swoop in and wow her?

Indiana James and Guy Germaine, former best friends had developed A rivalry after being placed on two separate hockey teams, but end up reconciling after Indiana gets moved from the Hawks to the Ducks. However, the reconciliation doesn't last long, they part ways amicably but still with a lot of history between them. When the ducks get called back to participate in the Goodwill games, Indiana dreads it because of her fallout with her best friend.

Emma moved to Minnesota to start her "new life" as she called it. It was going to be very different from Orlando but she had high hopes. She was going to a school called Eden Hall where her cousin, Grace, had been going. They would face time all the time and talk about what it was like there. Emma always had a secret interest in hockey and planned on trying out. She finally gets a fresh start and her dream-like life had just begun...

One is a jerk well known -- and hated -- by the District 5 team. The other is a steadfast girl, kind, but still a Hawk, an enemy in the Ducks' eyes. ・゜゜・． Willow Pearson is a Hawk who is deeply passionate about playing hockey; however, she isn't necessarily welcomed by the Coach, nor the players, on her team. Willow lives in Diana, Minnesota; she's childhood friends with her neighbor, Adam Banks. Adam is her only friend on the Hawks; at least, the only one who tolerates her. If anyone ever asked her, Willow would tell them that she would have rather been on any other team.
