Joy Nolan, daughter of John Nolan, flys out to LA with her dad when he makes his career change. While she's not interested in becoming a police officer, she joins the Mid-Wilshire Division as an administrative assistant to the Captain and Watch Commander. Lucy and Tim after years of working together are about to go undercover. But before they do that have to practice being in a relationship. Which results in a kiss that changes everything. This is an expanded version in third person of the scene in Lucy's apartment. It follows that scene closely, just with added detail. Please enjoy. Tim may not have a major in psychology like Lucy, but he had gone through a traumatizing childhood and more than one round at war, not to mention the many years in patrol.
