Addison Nestoris was born into a world engulfed with vampires that ruled over the land, never knowing what fate brought her into, her life was revolved around surviving, not getting sold like her twin brother, Achillean had been at the proper age. Her mother had been killed for her defiance at the King's feet. Ingressus Voltaris, commonly addressed as the King of Ardonia or the vampire King was never one to show mercy, he constantly tore apart families, amused at their suffering due to his rules the main one being that every child had to be sold at a certain age no matter what. It was pure cruelty she thought, but it was never her decision and her father, a previous Master and resister had submitted to Ingressus after he killed her mother. She hated Ingressus so much after everything he did, knowing that her father had never filled out the necessary files for her to be sold. which she was grateful for but then the vampire king himself comes to her house telling her she needs to be sold, but little does she know this simple little error could lead to something much worse, getting her life entangled with no other than the Vampire King himself. So yeah, this is a more modernized version of Secret Fire. Please read it, it will be good and this is a version where Ingressus took over Ardonia and is the king of Ardonia, I promise it will be good.
