Roughly 1000 years in the future, in a different galaxy, humans are nearly extinct due to a deadly pathogen. One of the few surviving humans tries to find their place in a turbulent galaxy that has little room for them among its many beings. A story about found family, navigating different social/cultural backgrounds, and also gay people.
