Her writing brings her a lot of attention from the wrong crowd, especially wannabe serial killers. On a walk down to the cemetery, Wednesday is attacked by an unknown person, ending up severely injured. Her parents decide to hire a bodyguard who will not leave the author's side until the attacker is found. Wednesday decides to investigate her own attack.
