Kit and Caboodle have successfully evaded the Syntax from their previous encounter, though barely escaping alive. Their ship has enough energy to escape, but not enough to be out of reach of their pursuers. A frantic escape has left them stumbling upon a random world in the Gameoverse, where hopefully they have enough time to gather their senses, let their ship repair, and get back to Farcade HQ. Little do they know that the Syntax have anticipated their escape, and an unlikely ally is their best shot to counter the unyielding pressure the Syntax have put on their backs, but things never go according to plan...
