Divine blood is sacred. It is powerful and runs only in the veins of immortal beings who are stronger, faster and are more powerful than any mortal could ever hope to be. There are a few species that carry divine blood, even if they all belong to the same family tree; Primordials, Titans and Gods. But there is one bloodline that rules above all the rest, a bloodline that should only be challenged by those who carry the same blood in their veins. This is a story, about how a broken promise to avoid the strength of this bloodline in yet another generation of divinities, becomes the life or death thread that is woven in the fate of Olympus.

A year after the events of HOO and TSS. All characters belong to Rick Riordan except a few OC's. (Also Ricks spin-off in which the two meet did happen about 6 months prior to the story) Soul Bakonay, demigod son of Apollo, goes to Brooklyn Academy for the Gifted, (or BAG) and is friends with the Kane children. He's also a regular summer term camper at Camp-Half-Blood. I wonder what would happen if he were to witness his best friends at BAG fight a monster of their own, in a particularly unorthodox manner. Yes, it's another PJO reading the books entry - I know, overdone, cringy and desperate. But recently I've noticed some of these entries improving their quality and ideas - the reality of the situation and its consequences being addressed and having the gods act and therefor feel like actual gods instead of impotent children whose progression feels either rushed or isn't even broached in the first place (cough, Zeus, cough) I've also been enjoying darker takes of the PJO universe and it's story recently so combining both of these things together within the character's physical and mental state should hopefully make for a refreshing read and take on this entry for a reading the books fan-fiction. Also let me know if you'd like to see any other books (fantasy war stories, e.g Harry Potter or the Inheritance Cycle) written down as a part of this series as well - it's an idea I'm toying with but doubt I'll get around to doing.
