They say "Opposites Attract." So when the university's introvert collides with the noise of campus life, will the result be harmonious as books say?
To Karina, Winter is a puzzle with a missing piece. As the campus golden girl, Karina's life is a constant, high-speed broadcast as if a whirlwind of faces, favors, and forced smiles. She lives in the center of the noise, yet she feels like a ghost in her own skin, desperately waiting for someone to look past the facade and see the girl underneath.
To Winter, Karina is a hazard. Living with a heart that stutters when it should soar, Winter has mastered the art of the exit. She skips class to catch a breath, retreats to secluded corners to hide her fatigue, and avoids the crowd to stay alive. She believes surviving university life is the same as surviving death.
When two worlds fall into one another, they are forced to see that they aren't so different after all.
