Luz is a self-assured teenage human girl and the last remaining member of the Shirai Ryu named Scorpion, who accidentally stumbles upon a portal to the Demon Realm. There they befriend a rebellious witch, Eda, and an adorably tiny warrior, King. Despite not having magical abilities, Luz and Scorpion pursues their dreams of becoming a witches by serving as Eda's apprentice at the Owl House and ultimately finds a new families in an unlikely setting.

The second season follows the main characters working together to get Luz and Scorpion back to the Human Realm, Eda to face her curse and search for the truth about King's past and Scorpion will search, find and revealed the Shirai Ryu's killer. while confronting Emperor Belos and his minions, who are preparing for the "Day of Unity", which wants the "unification of the Demon and Human Realms".

The 44-minute specials follow Luz and Scorpion's journey to save the Boiling Isles from the evil Monster Philip Wittebane/Emperor Belos & the unpredictable Collector.
