Anne Boonchuy, a self-centered 13-year-old 7th grader and Kuai Liang aka Sub-Zero, a self centered mortal kombat age 41-year-old 7th grader was magically transported to the fictitious world of Amphibia, a rural marshland full of the frog-people, also known as Amphibians and dangerous creatures. With the help of an excitable young frog named Sprig Plantar, Anne and Kuai will transform into a hero and anti-hero and discover the first and second true friendship of their life.

Anne and Sub-Zero and the Plantar are heading out on a new quest to unlock the mysteries of the Calamity Box as they leave the cozy confines of Wartwood for the distant city of the Newtopia. On their journey, they will visit exotic new locations, uncover hidden secrets, and experience unexpected reunions as they continue to search for a way to get Anne and Sub-Zero find a way home

The third season will see Anne and Sub-Zero and the Plantar transported from Amphibia to her hometown of Los Angeles where the frog family will have to learn about the modern world and try to find a way home - all while hiding their identities as talking frog people.
