After being invited to a writer's celebration, the pair wonder how they will handle an evening together after tensions (and passions) have risen since Hayley's divorce. To make things worse, it also falls on Valentine's Day.

Today is Taylor's 31st birthday and big surprise they downplayed the hell out of it. (I wonder who was behind that decision.) So, since both she and Taylor have birthdays within the next ten days, I decided to write fics about both of them attempting to downplay their own while going above and beyond to uplift the others.

Hayley and Taylor host a dinner party. Taylor gets distracted by *fond* memories of them together, which gets him into trouble. Not great with spoken words, he writes her a letter to explain himself.

Tayley. Hayley still married to Chad is struggling with her feelings for Taylor, she goes to a bar to escape. This one wrote itself last night at 1 AM, I minimally edited it because I wanted to keep it as raw as possible. I wrote it as part of a multi-chapter fic but it also works as a stand-alone so i decided to put it as a one-shot for now.
