After a particularly terrible experience with her adoptive father and a few drinks, Rebecca Harrison finds her much-needed escape from reality in her soon-to-be biology teacher. When the two meet again at the beginning of the school year, neither know what to make of the situation. But their conflict with each other is no match for the conflict Rebecca faces with her adoptive father, and the two soon find themselves developing a relationship that tests both of their willingness to let others in. For entirely different reasons, they find themselves pushing each other away. Until they realize that their reasons aren't so different at all. This story is girlxgirl, teacherxstudent, and it deals with topics such as abuse, alcoholism, and suicide. It's my best work but it can be depressing at times & may be triggering to some. (Teacherxstudent) It might have been the way her hand moved effortlessly across the canvas with every stroke she made, or the way her eyes would shine when speaking about her passion that she adored so much, or maybe it was her smile that seemed to captivate me every time. She was perfect in her own way, and I wish I could tell her how much happiness she brings into my life by being present. How all my worries and fears seem to drown away when she's near, or how a simple "hello" makes my day. The only thing stopping me from getting close to her is that diamond ring on her left hand, and how terrible of a person I feel every time I think about her in ways I'm not suppose to, and the fact that I couldn't bring her into my fucked up life. Oh, and because she's my art teacher. Mrs. Shuler, if only you knew how much I adore you.

"Why are you watching me?" There was a grogginess in her tone that I found extremely alluring. I shouldn't be finding it alluring, I should be maintaining my professional position. "It's funny watching you try and stay awake," my eyes glanced over at her before returning to the road. I took an exit that led to my apartment. "Where are you taking me?" She sat up in the leather seat and watched as we came to a stop light. I hesitated, not even sure with myself if I really wanted to bring my seventeen year old student into my apartment. "I, Uh, figured I'd just let you crash at my apartment, considering all that's happened tonight." Her eyebrows furrowed together, "Uh, are you sure that's a good idea?"

She's a Professor. She has a wife. She knows its wrong. She just cant help herself.

"It's not every day that one can say their hot roommate is also their American History teacher..." Sam's never had an easy life. Whether she's battling the nightmares of her dysfunctional past, attempting to dodge expulsion (for the second time), or trying to outrun her problems, trouble just seems to follow her everywhere. So when her brother introduces her to their new roommate, Megan Adams, Sam immediately senses a storm in the distance. But Sam soon finds out that she can only run so far, because Megan seems to be everywhere. And maybe deep down she doesn't really want to run anymore.
