She wasn't anywhere near genius, she wasn't into expensive galas and bars, and she certainly wasn't a picture worth hanging on the fridge. She hated her parents, tolerated her brother, and was always a drink away from self-destructing. Meeting Carol Danvers though, gave Raya something worth getting her act together for. Someone worth caring herself about for. Something so raw and powerful and dangerous, it was never bound to last. So she got in the car on December 17th, 1991 and she didn't even have much of a life to fall apart when she got dragged away to HYDRA. And Raya definitely doesn't have any pieces to put back together when she ends up over twenty years later, with a younger brother who's now older, and her old girlfriend somehow alive. But now with glowing fists. God, the future is weird. But maybe, hopefully, it'll be enough for Raya and Carol.

Freya Njoddotir grew up in the Asgardian Palace, her childhood was peaceful and she thought that nothing could go wrong but then one fateful night, aliens known as Kree attacked Asgard in one of the bloodiest battles in centuries. Many people were injured and some died and among them were Freya's parents which left the young girl an orphan however the Royal Family took her in after all her father had worked closely with Odin as his Commander of the army and her mother was Lady Frigga's most trusted handmaiden so naturally the Royal family took Freya in as one of their own. Already loving Thor and Loki as if they were her brothers, the young girl had no trouble with it and carried on having a happy childhood -- with grief for her parents heavy on her heart -- and continued to do so until it all came crashing down and the young girl learning that she was going to have to marry Thor, the person she thought of as a brother Not wanting to live her life married to a man she did not deeply love, the night before the wedding Freya enlists the help of Loki and Heimdall to help her escape from Asgard so she does not have to marry Thor. She finds refuge on Midguard, and spends her days avoiding the armies that Odin sends after her That was until she met a woman who fell from the ceiling and everything changed
