A small paved road in Diagon Alley leads to Potter's Herbs and Misc., where Remus Lupin buys his (surprise, surprise!) herbs and miscellaneous wizarding supplies every weekend. Only one day, he's met with a rather vexatious surprise of cigarette smoke and dreamy grey eyes waiting for him by the name of Sirius Orion Black.

Harry Potter disappears when he is four years old and the wizarding world believes him dead. But when his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, Harry returns in a storm of lightning; a grown man raised in a world of violence, more powerful than anyone could imagine, and the worst thing of all? He doesn't care two knuts about the wizarding world. Naturally, Voldemort is intrigued by this new and improved adversary.

As Harry Potter slays the Basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets, blood and venom get in his eyes, mostly blinding him. While Harry learns to adapt, he makes some new friends. But this is more than a story of adaptation and friendship as there are threats... and Harry isn't the only one with a past that haunts him. Blind!Harry POV. Disabled OCs. Very slow-build.
