Agent Monroe has quickly become known by those still with SHIELD as "The Renegade," and more often than not, is sent on solo missions. She has cut herself off from her old teammates in fear of hurting them, something they haven't quite come to understand. And what is this strange writing Coulson has Skye looking into?

The Fifth Book of All's Fair in Love and War finds Asia Monroe trapped in outer space. Outer space in the future. To make things worse, Leo Fitz, the man she loves, the man who has constantly been ripped away from her by fate, is not there beside her. Everything comes to a head when she looks out the window of the ship they are stuck on, and she sees a shattered fragment of the Earth with a glowing, orbiting orb of ice revolving around it. An orb of ice that seems to show her trapped inside of it.
