Hyrule's healing. Why can't I? Or, as Link journeys through Hyrule, he finds his perception of reality falling apart, piece by piece. But why? This is nothing like last time, waking up cold and alone, without a name or past. He knows who he is now, his place as Hyrule's hero. So why is he questioning his identity in a way he never did five years ago? Why can't he shake the feeling that maybe, this healing world doesn't belong to him at all? Spoiler alert for this entire book! If you have not completed the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this story will reveal the entire storyline of this game. Also some parts of the other Zelda games as well. **** Two people, both crippled by grief and both struggling with great expectations. Two people, but seventeen and still older than Hyrule itself. Two people, who will grow to rely on each other, torn apart by the final ruination. The blood moon rises... The shadow of the Calamity rises over the kingdom of Hyrule, rearing its terrible head, tearing apart all that stands in its way. The deadline was hanging over the head of the citizens who depend on the success of a powerless girl and the mettle of a simply talented boy. The full Triforce shall collide once more, and when it does, are they courageous enough to overcome the own demons that haunt them and stand firm against the evil ahead? Hey everyone! There will be quite a lot of angst so if you're not okay with that, then please don't read my book. There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing. Some characters will belong to me, but the majority of elements involved in my story belongs to Nintendo. Thank you guys so much and enjoy!

"What if I don't have to be defined by the curse I bear?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It all started by a peace offering. Zelda was tired of watching destruction reign in the land she loved. Tired of reincarnating again and again, tired of fighting, of rebuilding Hyrule just to watch it fall again. So she did what no other Princess of Wisdom had ever done. She gave up war, the time-old struggle over the Triforce. 60 days to forge eternal peace, 60 days to shatter it forever. OKAY PEOPLE. New ship! Honestly I'm not sure where the story is going to go, like I don't even have the full storyline planned out yet, but LETZ GET IT ANYWAYS! This story is not recommended for people under 13 years old.

Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. But how long can a disgraced hero last in the face of his failures? Cover art designed by @DaybreakVision on Twitter. Some themes may be upsetting to some readers. Viewer discretion advised. Breath of the Wild and its characters are owned by Nintendo.

Ten thousand years ago, the Guardians and Divine Beasts were created to stand with the people of Hyrule in their battle against Calamity Ganon alongside the knight who would seal the darkness and the legendary princess. They were among the Sheikah's greatest achievements-autonomous weapons of great power and unparalleled might. With the Sheikah's help, Hyrule was saved from their crisis. But there was one scientist among the Guardians' creators who saw more to their power. They were twisted, known for their wicked experimentation and their terrifying ideas. It was said that one day, the madness completely consumed them, forcing the queen to step in and put an end to their crimes. She was successful, and for a time, it seemed it was all over. Ten thousand years later, Princess Zelda joins Purah and Robbie's ancient technology research team on their expedition to Thyphlo Ruins, a former research facility where the first Guardians were developed by the ancient Sheikah. Rumors and legends of the former director of the facility-the very same mad scientist killed by the Royal Family so long ago-were not enough to deter them. The wealth of secrets and knowledge of the ancient technology was just too important to ignore. As the excavation goes underway, reports of a woman's voice calling out for help somewhere within the facility shake the team, and none can hear it better than Princess Zelda. She follows it, until she and her companions find the entrance to the old facility. But she and her friends all disappear inside. And whatever the scientist left behind is still there.
