One day while Wilbur was performing on tour, a light fixture that wasn't hung properly fell right on top of him. Quackity, his fiancé was on the back stage and rushed him right to the hospital. The news the doctor gave him left him and Wilbur's daughter devastated. Quackity hated Wilbur with his entire being, he just couldn't stand his cocky behavior and the way he acted around him. Wilbur on the other hand wanted to get to know the smaller boy better, which was difficult as he couldn't control his bloodlust and it was dangerous for other people to be around him. But when on one day, the brunette accidentally revealed what he really is, their relationship took a sudden turn.
