Tremulously, I opened it and pulled out 3 large photographs. One was of me in Jazz’s car, another was of me walking down the sidewalk and the last one was of me coming out of the herbal store. All three had a large pink heart drawn around my head. One the back of each photograph was a word. Carefully, I rearranged them on the bed.  I’M WATCHING YOU... Looking at those three words, I felt the bottom of my stomach, the bottom of the floor, hell the bottom of everything drop out from underneath my feet. Icy cold drips sent shivers down my spine and my heart rate sped up to that of a mouse’s. My mouth went dry and I couldn’t utter a word. “I’m watching you.” Jazz read, her voice oddly hollow. She looked at me and I at her. Both of us knew what this meant. The answer was written in all caps with a black sharpie on three photographs. Someone was watching me.
