After Maria Merryweather saves the valley, what's next? Loveday and Benjamin are married, as are Miss Heliotrope and Digweed. The Moon Princess's secret hideout is now Robin and Maria's hideaway, an escape from the intrusive adults. Maria is gifted new pearls, as well as new magic. New unseen forces may cause problems for the two teenagers, as well as past villains. Will Maria and Robin be able to overcome all the obstacles thrown their way?

Part 1: Maria Merryweather has just saved Moonacre Valley from its curse with the help of a once enemy, Robin De Noir. With the valley at peace, Maria has to adjust to a new life and finishing school. Little does she realize that a great danger comes from afar. Maria x Robin. Inspired by the Little White Horse but based on the Secret of Moonacre movie. Be warned, this is a slowburn, and was also my first fanfic so it starts a bit rough. With Robin's memories of her wiped clean, her last year in school, and the emergence of new enemies, Maria will have to work with her friends, and somehow regain Robin's trust, in order to return her life to some semblance of normalcy. Often times when I'm alone, my mind conjures up the image of the pale white moon. It's large, so large that it looks as if it could swallow dear little Moonacre in all of it's entirety. And then I feel the crushing weight of water, swirling around me. My hands frantically try to swipe the pearls off the bodice of my dress as the cold waves push me down further. My lungs cry out for air but I still plummet to the bottom of the dark ocean. When I'm finally forced to gulp down the salty liquid, I'm at peace- serene. And everything fades to black... ------------------------------------ Maria and Robin seem to be in an endless dance; one day they take a step forward, the next they take a step back. With pressure and tension mounting, will they end up together, or will someone end up with a broken heart?

All seemed well after Maria saved Moonacre Valley. She's been gone for three years to finish her schooling and finally she's returned home. But the very first night she is there, terrible nightmares assault her and something feels off. Darkness has been taking over Moonacre Valley and it is up to Maria and Robin to discover what is threatening them and stop it before everything is lost. And what about Robin? He's certainly been acting strange lately. Why is he seeming so gentle towards her when he so rough and wild for the rest of the world? (Better than description I promise)
