In this au, The Octonauts go from their modern-day ship setting to their new and nostalgic late 1930s world where they have never met and learn to accept each other's differences, despite the social views of the decade. It has the Octonaut characters everyone knows and loves interacting with each other as a part of a new setting. And it allows me to express my love for the decade and its fashion, art, and music while hopefully teaching other Octonauts fans historical events and what things were like during the 1930s as best I can.
