Lilah hails from old money with a successful career to boot. Whereas Ambrose gave up his dreams to raise his brother in the wake of a horrible tragedy. After a less than savory first meeting they instantly write each other off as nuisances and pray to never meet again. However, unforeseen circumstances continue to bring them together and they learn more about each other than they ever wanted to. In time, Lilah and Ambrose find their way through the nitty gritty components of life in this slow burn romance where, sometimes, the person you least suspect is the one that you needed all along.
