La Primera Guerra Mundial ya se cobró dos años y muchas vidas. Es 1916, y en una arriesgada e infructifera estrategia, el gobierno británico inicia una nueva batalla junto al río Somme en Francia. En un hospital de campaña atestado, el doctor Turner conocerá a muchas enfermeras pero a ninguna como Mannion.

Nunca podremos saber los resultados de cambiar la historia, pero al menos a mi, siempre me ha parecido interesante especular sobre ello. Yo era un hombre normal como cualquier otro, relativamente feliz pero sin nada destacable que me diferenciara de los demás. Todo eso cambio cuando por uno u otro motivo me vi envuelto en la serie de conflictos que a día de hoy, agrupados por simplicidad, se conocen como la Segunda Guerra Mundial. He visto mucho, y tanto mi vida como la de ninguno de mis camaradas volverá a ser igual, es más, el mundo en general tendrá una división notoria entre el antes y el después, de eso puedo estar completamente seguro. Por obligación, patriotismo, demostrar la superioridad de su raza o ideología, son solo algunas de las razones que sirven de motivante para llevar a un ser humano al campo de combate, a ya no ver a las personas como humanos, sino cómo alemanes, franceses, japoneses, etc. Enemigos en general.

LANGUAGE - here covers common grammatical errors, punctuation, vocabulary etc. HOW TO - this is broad range of things, idea, facts that may be relevant to your story e.g. guns, representation, romanticism etc. AU/WRITING PROMPT - these two sections cover ideas, settings, dialogues that may kickstart your writing process.
